New normal?Let’s craving for traditional food!

Hello again people! Back with me Naina. I wish everybody is always in good condition. It’s new normal, isn’t it? But everbody please keep yourself healthy and obey the COVID-19 protocol.

It has been a month since I didn’t post anything on my blog. Now, I want to ask you to join me craving for one of traditional foods in my city, Serang Banten. But wait.. before we start craving for the food, I would like to explain to you a little bit about me. Basically I’m just an ordinary girl who loves eating. I love buying some foods eventhough I don’t finish to eat them but at least I have tried them or we call it as “Jajan” in Indonesia.

Since I always find treasure about food, even in a place people never expect it, I always ask my friend to try. A little bit push them actually but it works hehe they try what I recommend to them and they always said “It’s delicious. How can you find it?” See? My passion is looking for some good foods and make a good review about it. I can’t count how many people who have been influenced by me.

My friends always ask me to recommend them some good foods and I really love to help them. As long as they happy, I’m happy too. Besides, happiness isn’t about money right?

Now let’s move on to what food will we eat!

This food called nasi sumsum. Basically, nasi sumsum is nasi bakar but it has beef marrow in it. If nasi bakar has chicken, or beef, but nasi sumsum is more way tasty and juicy. The rice or nasi itself seasoned by red chilli, lemongrass, onion, gralic and many traditional spices.

In my city, a lot of nasi sumsum seller sell nasi sumsum in the afternoon. So it’s kinda late-night food like sate taichan in Senayan. You won’t find it in the morning unless you cook it by your own.

I think the most famous nasi sumsum in Serang is Nasi Sumsum Kang Aspuri. He has been sold this food since 20 years ago But last time I checked, nasi sumsum Kang Aspuri is already getting improve. They add some ingredients like cheese, blackpaper and others to make it as fusion food. Well.. the original still the best,I guess.

I find some opportunities to sell this food in different city such as Jakarta. I never find it anyway on there. I really want to, at least, give my friends, lecturer or anyone to try nasi sumsum and see if they like or not. I will sell near BINUS because nasi sumsum is not that expensive. Trust me, you will only spend IDR 8000 to eat this. Anak kos will looking for this food!

But we won’t go to Nasi Sumsum Kang Aspuri. We will go to one of nasi sumsum seller in Serang which famous too and He sells his food in his house and the way he makes it is still traditional. The price? It’s affordable. The taste is much batter. Now let’s gooo!!!
